Marina Willer

Marina was born in Brazil and works as a Creative Director, graphic designer and film maker based in London, she has a Masters Degree from the Royal College of Art in graphic design and film (93-95).

Marina created the Tate brand identity and logo for all Tate galleries, other visual identities include recently launched South Bank Centre, Schaulager (museum in Basel), Beeline (Russian number1 Telecom), Oi (Brazilian number1 Telecom), etc. Currently Marina is designing the new identity for Amnesty International (not yet public).

Marina also creates and directs independent short films. Her film work has been shown at the ICA in London, Cartier Foundation in Paris and various prestigious film festivals like Rotterdam or Clermont Ferrand Film Festivals. She is an external examiner at the Royal College of Art and has been a jury member of the D&AD Awards 4 times.

In 2000 she was nominated for the Selfridges/Perrier award for The Best British Designer. In the same year, won silver medal in the Promex award for Best British Promotional film for a TV Channel. She also won best Brazilian short film in Sao Paulo Film Festival, 2004.
