Introducing AGI Open; The Site, and The Conference
AGI Open is the public and educational face of Alliance Graphique Internationale. On the AGI website, AGI Open is designed as a resource for students, design professionals, educators, design media and all other persons interested in learning about graphic design and designers. On the AGI Open site one can find the biographies and works of all AGI members, past and present, read articles by or about them, and find links to flickr, youtube and other sources that provide information about AGI designers, their views and their work.
The site is designed to be updated regularly by all AGI members and, in time, will become one of the best online graphic design resources in existence.
AGI Open is also a yearly Conference for students and professionals, timed to come before the annual AGI Congress. Each year AGI Open will present a two day conference of speakers and intimate workshops with AGI members from all over the world. The purpose of the Conference is to educate and inspire students and young professionals through presentations, intimate hands on workshops, and an open exchange of ideas between the AGI speakers and the audience.
This year, AGI Open will hold its first conference in Porto Portugal. The information about the speakers, dates, registration etc. is presented in this website. It promises to be a great event with stupendous presenters and we look forward to seeing you there. Register early.
